Mrs. Davis was an artist from Ohio, who created fine oil and watercolor paintings including still-life and portrait works, tinsel or reverse paintings on glass, drawings, note cards, and crafts including cut-work lamp shades.
Her studios, shops and galleries were located in Wolfeboro where she and her husband, Richard Davis, bought the Carr House and renamed it the Wolfeboro Inn, Ossipee at the Bakers Peel, and Effingham in New Hampshire. She was also a resident artist at the Art Colony located in Alabama Row at The Greenbriar in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia
