7M17-8   JOHN WHEELWRIGHT. ... $250.00
HIS WRITINGS, INCLUDING HIS FAST-DAY SERMON, 1637,
AND HIS MERCURIUS AMERICANUS, 1645; WITH
A PAPER UPON THE GENUINENESS OF
THE INDIAN DEED OF 1629,

AND A MEMOIR

by Charles H. Bell, A.M.

This is the highly decorated leather edition, one of 210 published in Boston in 1876 for the Prince Society.

CONDITION: This volume is bound in Decorated Leather. John Wheelwright is stamped in gold print on the top of the spine while Boston 1876 is printed on the bottom of the spine. The leather shows ordinary rubbing to the cover edges and fairly heavy wear to the corners, head and foot of the spine.

There are viii, 253 plus 3 pages, some that must have been bound uncut. I believe this to be one of the 10 large paper editions, that were published with 200 small paper editions. Note that the title page images are extreme closeups. Yeah, some of the images look a little weird because I tilted the page to prevent reflection from the flash and this resulted in distorted perspective.

The pictures are pretty big, so I have arranged to view them on individual pages as follows:

Front and Spine of Volume
